> Samuel Dwomo - Help a Determined Fresher Secure Her Dream of Studying Nutrition at KNUST
My name is Fati Mohammed, and I have just been blessed with an admission to KNUST to study BSc. Human Nutrition and Dietetics. This admission is a dream come true for me, but right now, my family is facing a heartbreaking financial crisis that threatens to take this dream away before it even begins.
School resumes on October 16, and I am supposed to pay a hostel fee of $350 (approx. GHS 5,600) to secure a place to sleep. My older brother is also a brilliant second-year Pharmacy student at KNUST. As a single mother, our mum has stretched herself to her absolute limit to get us this far. She desperately wants us to have a brighter future, but she simply cannot afford to pay for two separate hostel fees, medical expenses, and academic materials all at once.
It breaks my heart to see my mother cry because she wants to support us but simply doesn’t have the means. I am terrified that after all my hard work to gain admission into one of the most competitive programs, I might have to defer my course or stay home simply because I don’t have a place to sleep in Kumasi.Your donation—no matter how small—will go directly toward paying my hostel fee so I can have a safe roof over my head.
By helping me clear this hurdle, you are not just paying for a room; you are saving my education.
You are giving a young woman the chance to become a nutritionist, to lift the heavy burden off a struggling mother's shoulders, and to ensure that my brother and I can both stay in school to break the cycle of financial hardship in our family. Please, help me step onto the KNUST campus this week with hope instead of fear. Thank you so much, and may God richly bless your generosity
- Help Us Build Our Church
Our church building project has begun, and we are grateful to have successfully reached the foundation stage. However, there is still a long way to go before we can complete the building and have a safe and permanent place of worship.
We are raising funds to continue construction from the foundation level and move the project closer to completion. Donations will go towards building materials, labour and the next stages of construction.
This church will provide a permanent place for worship, prayer, fellowship and community activities. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help us take another step towards completing this vision.
We sincerely appreciate everyone who chooses to support us, share this campaign or keep the project in their prayers.
